On OnlyFans: Women's Center Zurich and Brinkertlück create awareness in this unusual way

As the first organization for women's rights worldwide, the Women's Center Zurich operates an account on the payment platform OnlyFans. The Women's Center uses the channel to provide information about its commitment, offers information about contact points and women's rights and, in an exchange with women's organizations from other countries, shows where women can get in touch if they need help.

Although many of the women are on the platform voluntarily, the gray area between self-determination and coercion is large. Also, OnlyFans is only financially worthwhile for the very few female content creators. Olivia Frei, Executive Director of the Women's Center Zurich, says: "We are aware that this action may startle at first. But what distinguishes the Women's Center Zurich is that we are there where women are wronged. Be it on the street or on social media. That's why we launched a channel on OnlyFans. Content creators are informed about their rights and find information about possible contact points. Furthermore, we naturally call on people to get involved in women's rights by making a donation or even becoming a member. Unlike the usual content on the platform, all our content is freely available."

Brinkertlück Switzerland as a value agency

The campaign will also be promoted on other social media channels. Dennis Lück from Brinkertlück Switzerland adds: "Everyone always talks about courage. The Women's Center Zurich is now doing something really courageous and going where it is about anything but women's rights. We are proud to be able to accompany such ideas as a value agency."

Frauenzentrale Zürich supports, networks and represents the concerns of women in politics, the world of work and society. As a private association, it is financed largely from its own resources, which is why it is dependent on benevolent donors.
