Plastics Innovation Competence Center new in Flowcube portfolio

Flowcube starts the new year by winning a mandate.

The Zurich-based communications agency has been entrusted with the public relations activities for the Plastics Innovation Competence Center (PICC) in Fribourg since January 1. PICC is dedicated to the innovative research and development of plastics and their processing. The mandate includes advising the management, corporate communications and product PR. Flowcube also acts as the press office.

The Plastics Innovation Competence Center, founded in October 2016, focuses on researching and designing holistic solutions in the plastics sector for various industries with a view to ecological sustainability and economic growth.

The team is made up of twelve permanent employees in the areas of research and development and is under the direction of Prof. Dr. Rudolf J. Koopmans. PICC is affiliated to the Fribourg School of Engineering and Architecture and is supported by the Canton of Fribourg and the Swiss Plastics Cluster. The contact with the Adolphe Merkle Institute at the University of Fribourg helps to harness basic knowledge for technological innovations.
