Visitors queue outside the Zurich event location Komplex 457. 20,000 took part in the ticket raffle, but only 500 got the coveted tickets. Plus 200 VIP guests. Samsung wants to celebrate its tenth anniversary with a gig where fans can experience superstar James Arthur up close.

Ten years ago, Samsung launched the first Galaxy smartphone on the market. In doing so, the Korean technology company made its mark on global smartphone innovation. In February, Samsung presented the latest result of 10 years of development: the Galaxy S10. A reason for Samsung Switzerland to celebrate: with the Galaxy Gig.

Samsung has sold the tickets to the exclusive concert in media cooperations with 20 minutesRadio Energy and Izzy as well as via the company's own website. In the run-up, a 20-minute cover advertised the launch of the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy Gig. There were also radio spots, social media activities and editorial reporting.

Sir Mary developed the gig in cooperation with the communications agency Jeff: Those entering the venue first pass through a futuristic tunnel and see all the Galaxy smartphones of the last 10 years. Before visitors finally enter the hall, where the concerts by special guests Nemo and Seven begin. Finally, the time has come: James Arthur plays his big hits such as "Say you won't let go". And the crowd celebrates. Impressions of the gig are available on the Samsung website galaxygig.ch and are shared with fans via social media.
