Coundco creates virtual reality game for Axa Winterthur

As in 2016, Axa Winterthur is also part of the Energy Challenge this year and Coundco is its partner for the conception and implementation of the appearance at the events.

Within the framework of the Energy Challenge, SwissEnergy, together with renowned partners, is carrying out various campaigns on the topics of energy efficiency and renewable energies.

Climate protection and renewable energies are the main focus of Axa Winterthur's corporate responsibility strategy. Axa Winterthur therefore attaches great importance to supporting its customers and the public in their dealings with energy and drawing attention to the relevance of the topic. It is therefore involved as a partner of the Energy Challenge 2017.

This year, the Energy Challenge is all about virtual reality in terms of communication, and Coundco took up the challenge and designed and implemented a VR game in-house especially for Axa Winterthur's presence.

The mechanics of the game are simple and exciting at the same time, and the implementation scores points for its realism and attention to detail. In a city of the future, the player is given the task of converting as many smoking diesel and gasoline vehicles as possible into clean e-cars or e-buses. Equipped with a controller, you move through the streets like Godzilla and can hardly wait until you discover the next cloud of smoke and can conjure it away.

And even though the game time is limited to two minutes and the goal is to convert as many vehicles as possible, you should definitely not miss looking around in between. In addition to flocks of birds and airplanes, which you'll come face to face with, so to speak, the view of the lake and the city panorama is also not to be sneezed at. Of course, the game is linked to a competition in which you can win a Renault Zoe for a year, as well as the matching electricity fuel card for the gas pumps of Axa Winterthur's partner Swisscharge.ch.
