HWZ: BSc ZFH for the tenth time
On Thursday, October 13, 2016, the HWZ had the pleasure of presenting a new cohort of graduates with their Bachelor's degrees in Communication (BSc ZFH in Communication) for the tenth time. This year, 125 graduates received their well-deserved diploma.
During the past four years, they have proven that they can reconcile a job related to their studies and a demanding course of study. With up-to-date knowledge from the fields of business management, marketing communications and corporate communications and job-relevant general education topics, they have thus built a solid foundation for their future careers.
Since 2007, some 800 graduates of the HWZ's wide-ranging Bachelor's degree program in Communication have now made their way into demanding and responsible positions in business, at NPOs, in public administration and as self-employed professionals. During this time, the program was led by Cyril Meier (2007-2014) and Bernhard Schweizer (since 2015), both supported by Matthias Nast.
The guest speaker at the graduation ceremony in the Fraumünster Church was Karin Lenzlinger Diedenhofen, Delegate of the Board of Directors of Lenzlinger & Söhne, multiple Board Member and President of the Zurich Chamber of Commerce.
The Baume & Mercier honorary prize for the best overall finish in communication, a luxury watch with automatic movement from the "Classima" collection of the long-established Swiss watch manufacturer, went this year to Fabio Schmuki.
All freshly graduated students can register at the Wall of Fame, the HWZ's electronic alumni book, with a personal entry that they can share with friends and acquaintances via social media. The Wall of Fame is public.
