Storytelling up close

McDonald's and TBWA\Paris are raising awareness of the Happy Meal books with an imaginative film.

TBWA Storytelling hautnah

McDonald's Happy Meals have always included plastic toys for the smallest guests. The small gifts promise about five minutes of joy on average, but in comparison cause a comparatively immense ecological footprint.

Since 2015, McDonald's France has offered a choice between plastic toys and a book. With the film, in which a girl together with her mother experiences first-hand the story she is about to be told, the fast food chain emphasizes the importance of family and closeness for growing up.
