"All I want for Christmas is you" was streamed 400,000 times in June

Every year, Spotify unveils user stats with "Wrapped." This year's edition is advertised with entertaining data gimmicks.

Spotify always publishes the "Wrapped" format in December. This is not only an analysis of the statistics of individual users over the last twelve months, but also an overview of what is streamed most in the respective country and what trends are discernible.

To close out the decade, Spotify lets you look back at the entire decade - or as long as the individual user is a Spotify Premium customer - during this year's edition of "Wrapped."

To celebrate, Spotify is putting its own (imposing) data set front and center in a print campaign with some entertaining stats gimmicks.

For example, we learn that almost a third of all streams of "Friday" by Rebecca Black were played on a Friday. Or that "Total Eclipse of the Heart" was streamed three times as often on the week of the solar eclipse than on the other days. We learn about the development of Lil Nas X's hit "Old Town Road": in January it had around 900,000 streams, in April it had over 250 million.
