Energy from mothers for mothers

Mothers are high-performance athletes, sometimes more sprinters, sometimes more marathon runners. In this commercial, Phillips shows how maternal energy can be collected and made available to new mothers and their babies in neonatology.

Sometimes you feel like you have no energy left. As a mother, you still have to have it. Or to put it another way: you may only realize how much energy you have when you are a mother. Phillips has realized a project for Argentinian Mother's Day on 15 October that harnesses this mother energy, or rather the kinetic energy that a mother generates when walking (or running) around, for others. Specifically: for babies in neonatology. The device developed especially for this project works like a generator that stores the kinetic energy on a kind of power bank. Of course, you could also attach your cell phone to it - not a bad idea either. However, the use of mom energy propagated in the commercial is much more poetic and coherent: it is used to operate incubators on the neonatal ward. In other words, a kind of start-up aid from experienced mothers for new mothers and their little ones. An idea that would not be a bad one in this context either. (nod)
