Daniel Titz and Dorian Lebherz, students at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, enraptured the international advertising scene just under a year ago with their spot "Dear Brother," which they produced for Johnnie Walker without being asked (Werbewoche.ch reported). Leading creatives were full of praise for the two newcomers and the meanwhile 4.3 million clicks on Youtube also speak for themselves.
Now the duo is back - with a pitch-black commercial they shot for Volvo. Not commissioned by Volvo, but with the carmaker's consent. On the one hand, that's brave, but on the other, it's understandable. After all, you don't look a gift horse in the mouth - especially not when it's produced so well. And once again spreads virally, as if by itself.
The only question is why they are still students - apparently they would have been good enough for the big, wide world long ago. (hae)
