Last but not least: yesterday's news

Good idea: advertising messages written in snow that disappear again when they are no longer needed.

With all the rays of sunshine that are finally making us happy, we don't really want to think about snow anymore. The residents of Chicago probably didn't want to either. But they had to, because the city was surprised by a spring snowstorm. One man's sorrow is another man's joy: the Mexican tourist office and the Lapiz agency used the snow for a sun campaign with street artist Nose la Nariz. For "Snow Graffiti", snow was used to write messages on house walls. Anyone who has ever thrown a snowball at a wall knows that it sticks as long as it is cold. Unlike paint from spray cans, however, snow has the advantage that it disappears again when it gets warmer. Perfect timing, because messages like "Come melt under the sun" only work when it's snowy and cold anyway. (hae)
