Last but not least: Sandy, the orange advertising flood

When the flood comes, you should be well prepared. Blick.ch has taken precautions and organized a suitable Orange ad.

Hurricane Sandy announced itself prominently not only meteorologically, but also in the media. For days, trusted channels have been reporting how and why America will sink in the floods. Hajo Schumacher of the Berliner Morgenpost appropriately analyzed: "The horror came in super slow motion. Rarely before in the history of mankind did a catastrophe approach in such a predictable way."

Today, the state of emergency arrived on schedule. Oversized headlines allow for oversized advertising placements. It's good to be prepared - by pure chance, of course. Blick.ch placed a very large orange ad that not only matched the events on the other side of the pond visually, but also in terms of content. The slogan "Take what you need" would have passed as a motto for the "looters in Philadelphia" ("They use the chaos to enrich themselves"). With such a direct invitation, the question "Are there more to come?" is also superfluous." (hae)
