Total advertising pressure for all media is still up on the previous year. After a slump in the fall of last year, the first four months of this year have seen a steady rise in total advertising pressure across all media. However, advertising pressure in display advertising has been falling steadily since its peak in summer 2016, including this month. The figures for electronic media, which have been falling slightly since September 2016, remained at the previous month's level in April. TV, on the other hand, is currently on the upswing again.
