TBWA\Zurich, Coop and Tschilli open the barbecue season

TSCH TSCH bye winter: Coop and TBWA\Zurich ring in the 2024 barbecue season with three recognizable features: the Mungo Jerry hit "In the summertime", TSCH TSCH and the bumblebee Tschilli.

For the second barbecue season with the bumblebee "Tschilli", the creatives at TBWA\Zürich have given Coop's barbecue ambassador even more character, speed and emotion: In four fast-paced short stories, Tschilli experiences the various facets of the barbecue summer. The bumblebee learns that barbecue fans barbecue in any weather without batting an eyelid, shows his colors as a football fan, celebrates a vegetarian version of barbecue fun and even proves himself to be a talented musician. Of course, Coop's extensive range of barbecues is also appetizingly showcased in every commercial.

For the four new adventures of the adorable bumblebee, Coop and TBWA\Zurich relied on the same team that successfully introduced the bumblebee in 2023: director Andreas Bruns, the film production company Shining and Hitmill. The CGI team from Postoffice Amsterdam once again breathed life and charm into Tschilli and made her even more expressive. The four 15-second films are part of a broad-based 360-degree campaign on TVC, OOH, DOOH, print, online and at the POS.
