Climate youth wants to draw attention to IPCC report with posters

The Climate Youth wants to draw attention to the report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) published on Monday with an information campaign. For this purpose, the organization "Swiss Youth for Climate" (SYFC) hangs up more than 1000 posters with the most important findings of the report all over Switzerland.

This is necessary to facilitate public access to such information, SYFC wrote in a statement Monday.

The campaign will lead to a summary of key IPCC findings via a QR code. This includes the current state of science on climate change, its short- and long-term impacts on the planet, and the solutions available to mitigate climate change.

SYFC has teamed up with the cities of Geneva and Lausanne, the Lausanne public transport company Transports de Lausanne, the Swiss clean energy developer Ennova, the advertising agencies Propaganda and Neo Advertising, and the printing company Uldry. The posters will be seen on billboards and public transport in Switzerland's biggest cities. (SDA)
