Digitec now relies on feelings for customer ratings

Digitec Galaxus is taking the next step when it comes to honest customer reviews. In a new online campaign, the focus is on the feelings that go along with them.

The honest opinions of the Digitec community have long been known on billboards and TV. Now, for the first time, Digitec is promoting them exclusively online in a campaign that focuses more on the various emotions of the community that resonate in the reviews.

Produced in-house

What the commercials all have in common is Digitec's typical reduced staging: someone looks you in the face against a white background and supposedly talks about their interpersonal feelings. As a viewer, you inevitably feel directly addressed. But in the end, what is said always proves to be part of a product review penned by the Digitec community.

The spectrum of feelings the films play with is correspondingly broad: from touching confessions of love for a pair of headphones to intimate wishes for a laptop in bed to sheer hatred for the missing CH plug.

Like the previous Digitec campaigns, the new films were not only developed by Digitec Galaxus' own creative team, but were also implemented internally, from casting to shooting and editing.

The campaign can be seen online in German- and French-speaking Switzerland as well as on relevant social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Reddit from February 28.
