Franz & René: Yann Sommer promotes alarm systems

Pünktlich zur Fussball-WM nutzt Franz & René den berühmten Torwart Yann Sommer als Testimonial für das neue Alarmsystem von GPA.

GPA is one of the leading suppliers of surveillance and security systems in Switzerland: technical systems, alarm control center, monitoring and secure transport. The company is launching a new product: "easYSecurity", an alarm system that can be easily installed at home. To accompany the launch, GPA has chosen Yann Sommer as the face of the campaign. After all, who better to talk about defense than the famous goalkeeper?

Franz & René adds another protagonist, a guard dog, but unfortunately he does not show the desired behavior. The basis for the concept of the campaign: for the security of your home, rely on professionals. To get the message across, the agency relies on absurdity and humor.

Ultimately, only one conclusion is possible: for safety, a certified alarm system remains the best solution. And to bring the concept to a close and make the message credible, Yann Sommer himself takes on the role of voice-over speaker, in both German and French. The campaign was conceived and implemented by Franz & René following a winning pitch in August. In addition to the centerpiece, a 25'' TV spot & its 10"-reminder, the campaign is declined in OLV, Programmatic Display, Packaging & Give-aways in Panini design.
The campaign has been running since Sunday, November 20, date of the first WorldCup spike in Qatar, and will run until the end of
2022.
