Cavalcade and Yuh give students 30 francs

The financial app Yuh gives students 30 francs when they open an account, and together with Cavalcade also shows what they can do with it.

It's not unusual for financial institutions to offer start-up capital to attract new customers. But the financial app Yuh from Swissquote and Post Finance not only gives students CHF 30 for opening an account at the start of the semester, but also shows them what they can do with it, together with the agency Cavalcade.

Treat yourself - or invest later?

The Yuh app, in addition to the free debit card and a free account, is designed to make it especially easy to get started in trading, even on a small budget. Cavalcade's idea: give students CHF 30 to do with as they please. Treat themselves to something good on the spot or invest in fractional shares for later?

This concept, with very concrete examples communicated exactly where students spend their money, gives Yuh the opportunity to draw attention to his offer and the investment functions of his app. For example, at the cab stand of Zurich's main train station, a poster poses the question of whether one should use the money to afford a cab ride or invest the same amount in the company Uber. In Lausanne, a billboard not far from a famous fast-food restaurant invites passersby to order a meal for the amount or invest it as capital at McDonald's.
