"Overdue": Brinkertlück positions Aargau as a bathing canton

Water has played an important role as a healing force in the canton of Aargau for thousands of years. With the claim "Where water works wonders", brinkertlück is now positioning the canton of Aargau as a spa canton. The focus is on the long-standing tradition of Aargau's waters and the canton's four unique thermal and wellness spas: for more than 2,000 years, people have been bathing in water with a wide variety of properties in Aargau, and today thermal and wellness spas are available for this purpose in no less than four communities. With the new campaign, the resources of the thermal baths, which are unique in Switzerland, are now being put in the spotlight.

"And in a phase in which society is experiencing more and more stress, the full focus on rest, relaxation and personal well-being is absolutely the right signal to the outside world," says Dennis Lück, CCO at Brinkertlück Switzerland. The campaign's ambassador is model Manuela Frey, who grew up in Brugg and enjoys drawing strength from local sources back home. The number of visitors to the spas also shows that the demand for them is steadily increasing. Holger Czerwenka, Director of Aargau Tourism, believes that positioning the canton as a spa canton was "long overdue. The aim of the campaign is to attract wellness customers from the canton of Aargau, neighboring cantons and southern Germany and invite them to the healing environment of the spa canton.

Sustainable Bath Balls as "Bath Canton Aargau To Go

The visuals in the campaigns focus on the four thermal and wellness spas. A long clip, various short clips and static and performant material are used as advertising media - captured in all four spas. In addition, content was also produced for the social channels and wellness blogs. A highlight of the campaign are sustainably produced bath balls, which can also be used in private bathrooms to enjoy the relaxing effect of the individual baths - "Bäderkanton Aargau To Go".
