Filmgerberei realizes image film for Insel Group

A hospital business has many facets - this is to be expressed in the image film that Filmgerberei created for the Insel Group.

The initial situation was clear and yet complex: The Insel Group is to be positioned as a human and reliable brand with high quality standards. The individual is at the center of everything we do, and yet this is only possible at all with diversity and strong teamwork. After an intensive concept phase and a top pre-production performance, a one-and-a-half-minute film has now been created that takes viewers on a journey through the many facets of hospital operations.

16 locations, 36 actors, but only 4 days of shooting, and all that while the hospital was still in operation. The producer Marike Löhr was challenged. In an enriching collaboration with the very dedicated team of the Insel Gruppe, they meticulously organized the scenes so that director Alun Meyerhans and his team could calmly set up the set and stage the cast despite the tight schedule. "The biggest challenge was to keep adjusting to the new cast members at such a fast pace and then immediately get back into the mood for the new scene," Meyerhans recalls.

The concept was aimed precisely at this diversity, which works together in parallel on a daily basis. Professional as well as human topics were made tangible. Patients and employees answer the very personal question "What do I want to be tomorrow? In the context of a medical facility, this future-oriented question takes on central significance for patients and employees alike. Throughout the film, the age of the people shown steadily decreases, but not the size of their dreams and wishes. The circle closes with the birth of a child - and the moment when the person in old age finds his or her very own answer to the question posed at the beginning.

Positioning as an employer

With this insight, the hospital group shows a very personal side. This was important to the clients, because future employees in particular should feel addressed. Job seekers deal with the question of the future and see in the film that they are in a place with the Insel Group that takes this question seriously.

Thus, two thirds of all actors were employees of the Insel Gruppe, who were committed to this project. Their commitment and the very successful and pleasant cooperation between the Insel Gruppe and the Film Tannery make this project an authentic portrait.
