Andy Was Right and Sir Mary put the climate for Zurich on the menu

The "Climate à la carte" campaign is designed to make the city and its inhabitants the star. More than 100 well-known Zurich voices from gastronomy, society and culture support the campaign.

Starting August 29, the city of Zurich celebrates sustainable food. For this year's climate campaign of the Department of Health and Environment, Andy Was Right and Sir Mary have designed an activating approach with a movement character.

In addition to posters and other classic advertising media, more than a hundred restaurants from the city have been enlisted (including Wiesner Gastronomie, the Péclard Betriebe, the municipal businesses, Neue Taverne, but also trendy eateries such as KLE and SO Pizza). The restaurants offer special climate-friendly menus, top chefs provide culinary tips, and "Climate à la carte" is also the motto at various events. This is also the case at the Festival Food Zurich. The aim is to raise public awareness of sustainable nutrition in a positive way.

"A message is particularly well received when it is not only heard, but also lived. That's why it was clear to us that we wanted to put the people of Zurich themselves at the center of the campaign," explains Roger Hämmerli, Managing Partner of Andy Was Right. The search for supporters turned out to be gratifyingly simple. "Right from the start, we wanted to create a campaign that would not only play on advertising channels, but would be omnipresent in Zurich. We are delighted that over 100 restaurants and countless other supporters are now taking part in the campaign," says Daniel Zuberbühler, Founder & Managing Partner of Sir Mary.

During the campaign period, Andy Was Right continuously produces content that is published on the digital channels of the city and its partners. "The campaign is thus not only advertised, but also documented. Here, too, Zurich is to be the star," says Hämmerli.

"The restaurant scene in Zurich is diverse and there are already many good initiatives. The fact that Klima à la carte has met with such great interest among the establishments paves the way for cooperation that goes beyond the campaign," says Claudia Naegeli, Co-Head of Communications at Environmental and Health Protection Zurich. "Climate à la carte" runs from August 29 to September 30.
