Axa shows sustainability with mega poster at Paradeplatz

Axa is drawing attention to its long-standing commitment to climate protection and sustainable investment with a mega-poster on Zurich's Paradeplatz.

From August 15 to September 11, an Axa out-of-home megaposter with the slogan "Invest for tomorrow" will be on display at Zurich's Paradeplatz. With the 153 square meter megaposter in a highly frequented location, Switzerland's largest insurer draws attention to its long-standing commitment to climate protection and sustainable investments and highlights the high relevance of these topics for future generations. In addition, Axa uses emotional videos on social media channels as well as print ads and online banners to create more visibility for these topics.

Climate leadership as part of the corporate strategy

In line with its corporate purpose "Act for human progress by protecting what matters", Axs Group has made climate protection a key focus of its corporate strategy. It has been consistently driving forward its sustainability efforts for years: from reducing its own carbon footprint, through sustainable construction projects and the promotion of biodiversity, to the strict application of sustainability criteria in its investment decisions. The fact that Axa has already taken on a pioneering role in this regard is reflected, among other things, in independent ratings, such as the "MSCI ESG Research" ranking, in which Axa achieved a AAA rating with 10/10 points in the area of "Sustainable Investing".

Back in 2015, Axa was the first major insurer to announce a gradual phase-out of the coal industry - the complete phase-out is to take place by 2030 in the OECD region and globally by 2040. In line with the Paris Climate Agreement, Axa has also set itself the goal of limiting the global warming potential of its plants to below 1.5 °C by 2050.

As a member of the Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance, Climate Action 100+ and numerous other initiatives and partnerships, Axa is also committed to joint action by major investors in favor of climate protection. Since 2021, Axa Switzerland has also been a platinum partner of the "NZZ Connect" initiative. "Impact Finance Forum., which positions itself as the leading national conference in the financial sector and addresses and promotes the importance of sustainable investments in the Swiss financial center.
