Migros summer campaign from Wirz: Who will bring the best Coco-Jamboo version?

"Coco Jamboo" is the anthem of the current Migros summer campaign by Wirz. Migros is launching a competition for it: the band with the best cover version of the catchy tune will win a performance at the Open Air Gampel.

In the "Coco Jamboo Jam Challenge", Migros and Open Air Gampel are jointly looking for the funniest, most unusual or simply best cover version of "Coco Jamboo". Migros is appealing to Swiss bands, individual artists, choirs, Guggenmusik or string quartets: they are all invited to submit their version of the hit with a video. The winner gets ten minutes on one of Switzerland's biggest stages, namely the Open Air Gampel.

Migros and Openair Gampel are drawing attention to this opportunity with a comprehensive social media appeal campaign and the associated landing page. From now until July 24, anyone who feels called to do so can send in their musical interpretation of "Coco Jamboo". A jury, consisting of representatives of Migros and Openair Gampel, will select the six finalists from all entries. Afterwards, the community will decide via voting which act will be allowed to perform its version of the summer hit from 1996 at the Open Air in Valais. The winning band will perform at the festival weekend at the end of August 2022. All phases from the call to the performance will be accompanied on the Migros social media channels and on the landing page.
