Ruf Lanz positions Bank Thalwil as down-to-earth and decent

Zurich agency Ruf Lanz is sending Bank Thalwil's positioning campaign into the second round, promoting the pension plan with a clever special poster.

Bank Thalwil Bank Thalwil has been a predominantly regionally active bank on the left bank of Lake Zurich since 1841, with its headquarters in Thalwil and branches in Kilchberg, Adliswil and Langnau am Albis.

For seven years, the bank has positioned itself as "Die Bankwerker": energetic, down-to-earth and decent, committed to the people and the region

2020, Ruf Lanz was commissioned to further develop the existing positioning of the "Bankwerker". "Ruf Lanz has managed to convey our attitude and values to the outside world even more concisely with fresh ideas and impulses," says Beat Ruch, Head of Marketing & Communications at Bank Thalwil.

After two poster waves in 2021 is now followed by the next season: Once again, pointed headlines in an independent layout reveal that Bank Thalwil is made of different stuff than conventional financial institutions.

A special poster that extends across the space between two billboards attracts additional attention. It conspicuously advertises the need to close gaps in pension provision. Unfortunately, pensions from the AHV (first pillar) and the pension fund (second pillar) are often not enough to maintain the accustomed standard of living after retirement. To close this gap, private pension provision with pillar 3a is crucial.
