Last year's campaign showed that Nevi is finally happy again (Werbewoche.ch reported). That's why the snow monster ensures a white Christmas. In this year's continuation of the Christmas campaign, the snow monster learns through his new roommate, the squirrel Flo, that needs are different and that true friendship requires closeness as well as distance.
With the image film, Coop wants to underline once again that the brand promise "For me and you" is more than just a promise, and also celebrates the magic of being there for each other in this year's campaign.
The film aims to show why closeness is so important, especially during the festive season, and also addresses the question of what really makes a home. A theme that is also reflected in the specially composed soundtrack "Home", which was interpreted by Mark Kelly.
The spot is a mix of live action scenes shot in Switzerland and CGI. The character design of snow monster Nevi and his new roommate Flo was developed by Michael Kutsche, who otherwise works for Tim Burton and other Hollywood greats.
In addition to the TVC, the story is also available as an audio book - but from a different perspective. In a prequel, the story of the new protagonist Flo is told, and how it came to the encounter with Nevi in the first place.
The campaign will be launched on Thursday throughout Switzerland in three languages, including online and TV spots, cinema, print, OOH and DOOH measures, and POS implementations.
