Wirz for Interpharma: Research is human

Wirz's national communications offensive for its new customer Interpharma, the association of research-based pharmaceutical companies in Switzerland, is launched under the motto "We continue to research".

Although the pharmaceutical industry enjoys a good reputation in Switzerland and the population here is aware of its economic importance, it is still sometimes perceived as faceless and calculating. The fact that it is people, and not nameless robots, who research day and night to defeat diseases with new drugs and therapies is often forgotten.

The campaign now aims to put the spotlight on precisely these people. In a total of 14 subjects, researchers are photographed in their natural, usually less glamorous working environment. The images - deliberately photographed in documentary style by Jörg Koopmann - take an unvarnished look behind the scenes of the research-based pharmaceutical industry. Statements illustrating how much time and work goes into the research and development of new drugs add an emotional dimension to the photos.

The campaign can be seen on billboards and public transport screens throughout Switzerland. In addition, there is a Micrositewhich deals in depth with the topics addressed on the posters. The campaign is flanked by social media posts and various measures to involve employees.
