Swissmilk and Sir Mary launch multi-part Youtube series for Gen Z

In Sportswitch, the new branded content series from Swissmilk and Sir Mary, two completely different professional athletes swap their everyday lives for a day. The result: docutainment in three episodes, tailor-made for YouTube.

How do you motivate the young target group to exercise more and eat a balanced diet? Swissmilk asked this question in its pitch for the new YouTube series for Gen Z. "It was answered with the 'Sportswitch' concept. Take Gen Z athletic role models and have them live a completely new routine for a day. From the morning alarm clock to nutrition and drill sessions with strange coaches to private moments with hobbies and family," said Patrik Zurlinden of Swissmilk. The series has a documentary narrative form and was implemented dynamically, as is familiar from YouTube.

Sportswitch" was produced in close cooperation with Andy Was Right. The documentary approach that Sir Mary chose for the implementation is due to the common understanding of branded content. "Our storytelling is based on journalism, not advertising. This allows us to be fast, up-to-date and, above all, close to life," says Julia Fischhaber, Content Director at Sir Mary.

The series was produced for YouTube and is additionally promoted on Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook. In the episodes, snowboarder Pat Burgener and bodybuilder Jessica Gismondi, Nati goalkeeper Gaëlle Thalmann and UFC fighter Volkan Oezdemir, as well as Ditaji Kambundji and swinger Remo Käser meet.
