Jung von Matt Limmat gets Iouri for Zalando one last time

Zalando and Jung von Matt Limmat are bringing Iouri Podladtchikov back to the halfpipe one last time. At the end of January 2021, the Olympic and two-time world champion will contest his "The Last Run" in Laax. The run will be streamed live on YouTube and represents the freedom to do what you like.

The free spirit Iouri Podladtchikov does not follow social conventions in his decisions. The same applies to the online retailer Zalando. The company stands for the unlimited possibilities of defining and staging oneself with fashion, free of any rules. Zalando and Iouri Podladtchikov: a perfect match, then. That's why the snowboarder will also be riding his "The Last Run" in collaboration with Zalando. Jung von Matt Limmat is responsible for the campaign.

The run on January 28, 2021 in "The Big Beast of Laax" halfpipe marks the crowning glory of an unprecedented sports career. The teaser film for "The Last Run" will be shown as a social ad in various versions - cut downs, bumper ads and the full version - and as part of a broad digital-out-of-home campaign at the biggest Swiss train stations. The event will be streamed live via YouTube on January 28.

 

Limited Edition

In addition to moving images, Zalando also worked with Iouri Podladtchikov to stage several campaign visuals on Crap Sogn Gion in Laax. In the images, Podladtchikov wears his favorite outfits from the Zalando winter range. The campaign visuals will be shown on Zalando.ch and in social ads. Podladtchikov will also ski the run in a limited-edition Columbia jacket, which will be unveiled for the first time at the event and then raffled off on Zalando's social media channels.
