Kind regards realized anniversary film for FCZ women

As part of the 50th anniversary of women's football, Freundliche Grüsse tells the story of two deserving first-generation FCZ players - with a little twist.

Freundliche Grüsse

Goals, trophies, champagne and Gucci - that's about how you can describe the careers of Trudy Streit-Moser and Heidi Aebi after watching this cinematic portrait. The film tells their story as if women's soccer had been a mass phenomenon over the last 50 years, and as if Trudy & Heidi had become world stars.

Personalities like Georges Brégy and Bernhard Turnheer still go into raptures when they hear the names of Trudy and Heidi. They dominated the Swiss league at will. With their incredible performances, Trudy & Heidi even managed to make the public suddenly pay more attention and interest to women's football than to the men's game. It quickly became clear that these two exceptional talents were not going to spend their entire careers in Switzerland, and so what had to come happened, and Trudy signed a lucrative contract with FC Bayern Munich. From then on, luxury ruled: the champagne was exchanged for champagne and the coach from Adidas had to give way to one from Gucci.

Even if Trudy's and Heidi's palmarés were somewhat distorted and the two were not so much in the media spotlight: Their performance, and that of women in football in general, must be appreciated.
