Wunderman Thompson rides through the UPC Giganetz

UPC continues to expand brand awareness for the UPC Giganetz. With the new campaign, Wunderman Thompson invites viewers on a wild ride with the UPC Giganetz. The new campaign showcases the advantages of UPC's Internet and TV products with plenty of speed and action.

The core message of all advertising materials: The UPC Giganetwork is as fast, reliable and ubiquitous as its consumers. These three attributes are dramatized in respective key visuals: two kids whizzing down the hall with a VR headset, family friends sharing a great sports moment, and a teen clique recording a TikTok video in the backyard.

 

High-speed ride on the UPC Beam

In the TV spot, viewers follow the UPC Beam on a fast-paced ride through the scenes - as if they were riding it. A speed drone was used to link the entire film into an exciting one-take.

 

Concept and realization were created in the collision model of Wunderman Thompson: in close cooperation and constant exchange between creation, strategy, consulting, director Reto Salimbeni and the client.

With the protagonists in full motion, colorful tones and the fast beam, the photo subjects also capture the action-packed spirit for print and posters.

The campaign runs on TV, radio, DOOH screens, walking boards, print and the web. The communication builds on awareness for the UPC Giganetwork and goes deeper into the benefits and offers in the various channels to further build trust. The media planning came from OMD and the web development of the concept as well as the online media planning from Webrepublic.
