Coop and Valencia make for an exciting summer

The Coop collection promotion for this summer is called "Hello Summer", with Nerf products from toy manufacturer Hasbro and other Badi accessories. The promotion was staged in a summery way by Valencia Kommunikation.

Valencia

Those who stay at home this summer don't have to miss out on fun with the new Coop collection campaign. A Nerf beach ball set, a neoprene volleyball, a Super Soaker and a blaster will get boys and young at heart into action. The striped beach towel and the corresponding beach bag are aimed more at adults.

Valencia was responsible for the entire communication of the promotion for "Hello Summer". In addition to visuals and naming, the all-round package included a concerted combination of online measures such as banners and bumper ads with offline measures such as digital out-of-home, TVC, print and various POS advertising media, from promotional displays to carrier bags.

Rethinking because of Corona

During the production of the moving image, special conditions prevailed because of Corona and some ideas could not be implemented as originally planned. Nevertheless, in cooperation with the client, the optimal solution was found. The models were filmed individually on green screen and then digitally stitched together into an animation. The result was a spot in a 25- and a 15-second version, as well as bumper ads and how-to videos.

The Promotion "Hello Summer runs from June 5 to July 18, 2020 in Coop supermarkets as well as Coop City, Coop Bau+Hobby and Coop Restaurant.
