Swisscom and Stories show that we are "Ready Together

Despite all the current difficulties and restrictions, Switzerland continues to function - not least thanks to digitization, which is already well advanced. Swisscom and Stories are picking up on this in the current "Together Ready" campaign.

Swisscom

Regardless of the health and economic threat posed by the coronavirus, many people today are finding out how their everyday lives can also be managed digitally. People work in their home offices, make music via video calls and play online games. Contact with friends and family is maintained via telephone or video conferencing. This is how closeness is experienced in a completely different way. Swisscom is using this experience as the basis for its new campaign, which shows Switzerland in a state of emergency - and how the economy and society continue to function despite this.

Created entirely in the home office

"The campaign was created in the same reality that it depicts. Everyone who worked on the campaign, on the part of Swisscom and on the part of the partners, worked from their home office," explains Felix Zürcher, who is responsible for the campaign at Swisscom.

The campaign motto "Ready together" expresses the fact that people in Switzerland have moved closer together digitally in this period and that what they have in common is gaining in importance. "Ready" describes the attitude with which Swisscom wants to make its brand promise tangible for customers in the future. Because Swisscom supports people in Switzerland in being ready for new opportunities in the networked world.

Director on video call

The "Ready Together" campaign has been running since Tuesday with TV commercials, video ads, banners, advertisements, and content contributions for private and business customers. All preparation was done online via collaboration tools, meetings were held via video call. The footage for the TV spot and video ads was filmed by people in their own homes via cell phone, director Michael Fueter was connected via video call.
