Thjnk and Webrepublic realize cross-media campaign for Blick TV

On Tuesday, the Blick Group launches the first cross-media campaign for Blick TV. The subjects around the digital TV experience were developed together with Thjnk Zurich. The strategic planning of the online media was done with Webrepublic.

Since mid-February 2020, the Blick Group's new channel has been reporting daily on politics, business, sports and entertainment on Blick.ch and in the Blick app. To additionally position the novel video offering for the web, the Blick Group is launching a cross-media campaign today in collaboration with Thjnk Zurich and Webrepublic. "We want to reach new users as well as get existing ones to visit Blick TV more often. To this end, the focus of our campaign is primarily on the digital channels," says Nicolas Pernet, Head of Commercial Management at the Blick Group.

Until the end of the year, Blick TV will be advertised with various advertising media such as online and print ads as well as video ads, in TV stations, newspapers and magazines as well as on social media. Cinema and out-of-home will follow in autumn.

Within 180 seconds, the digital channel reports live on a current event. This is also the communicative central idea of the campaign: under the claim "Blick TV: live dabei - Der schnellste Sender der Schweiz" (Blick TV: live - the fastest channel in Switzerland), several subjects express the digital TV experience around the core topics of news, sports and entertainment. The orientation of Blick TV as an offer for smartphone use is also emphasized in the motifs.
