The independent titles score points with their close proximity to their readership. Integral & Leuenberger's current subscription campaign showcases this closeness with around 50 individual testimonials from readers "from among the people" who volunteered to take part.

The key question was not so much who the ambassadors are, but why they read their newspaper. The variety of answers should impress through naturalness and is free of any "marketing speak".

All ambassadors were staged in front of a plaque of their place of residence, with the place name appearing in the typography of the Tagblatt or Journal head as a result of digital processing.
