Wunderman Thompson creates new experience platform around Migros coffee world

Migros is calling on the population nationwide to work together to create Switzerland's new favorite coffee, "Le Café National," which will be on the shelves from February 2020.


In co-creation with Migros, its in-house roaster Delica and Studio Schoch, Wunderman Thompson developed a national, integrated campaign centered around an interactive digital experience. It includes the platform for co-creating the new coffee as well as participation in the competition. In addition, it offers the opportunity to discover Migros' diverse coffee expertise in a surprising and novel way.


A new coffee world was to be specially designed for the creation of the coffee, with a modern interpretation of the familiar vintage travel posters. In addition, a woman as expert host guides the visitor step by step to the goal, so that co-creating Switzerland's new favorite coffee becomes child's play.


From the production of the microsite with 3D animations, video integration and programming for the evaluation of the competition to the creation of the accompanying campaign, Wunderman Thompson implemented everything interdisciplinary in-house.
