Valencia Communication heralds the emoji summer for Coop

Coop brings back the emoji and launches the collectible promotion "Coop Emoji Summer". The collectible fun is once again promoted by Valencia Kommunikation.

After the success of the emoji summer promotion 2018, the symbols from chat communication are coming back to the Coop this summer. This time they adorn outdoor items such as picnic blankets, microfiber towels for sports, bath towels, lunch boxes and drinking bottles. Valencia Kommunikation was commissioned to develop the comprehensive communication package for the promotion: from key visuals to all print and POS advertising media such as advertisements, F4/F12 posters or displays to TV commercials, e-boards, bumper ads and mailings.

The accompanying TV spot shows in atmospheric images a family in a campervan who can hardly wait for summer. "At the campsite, swimming vacations, sports and outdoor activities combine to create a great summer fun. That's exactly what the promotion is all about," says creative director Tommy Schilling, explaining the concept.

The promotion runs from May 17 to June 29, 2019, at Coop retail stores as well as Coop City, Coop Bau+Hobby, coop@home and Coop Restaurant. Customers receive one collector's stamp for every ten francs they purchase.
