Thanks to one of the largest flight and hotel portfolios, combined with the booking module "Activities", every trip becomes unique. Whether participating in a historical gladiator championship in Rome or shark diving in your own hotel in Dubai, on Ebookers you can find the right activity for every passion, according to the message of the new, national advertising campaign, which starts on Sunday in Switzerland.

"Ebookers knows that every Swiss traveler is different and wants to do something out of the ordinary on their vacation. Whether it's a quirky hotel, a remote destination or an unusual hobby, Ebookers helps the Swiss put together their perfect and customized trip," Maryse Gauthier, Ebookers Head of Brand Marketing, commented on the launch of the campaign in a statement.

Vacation feeling in 30 seconds

The campaign is accompanied by a comprehensive advertising offensive. At the heart of the campaign are the "Catch of the Day" and "Gladiator" spots. They are set in two favorite Swiss destinations: Rome and Dubai. The customers bring their passion to life and enjoy unique experiences, which are thus bookable via Ebookers. In 30 seconds, viewers experience a historic gladiator championship in Rome or a dive with sharks in their own hotel, to name just two examples.

The two spots will be shown from September 2 to October 21 on fourteen different stations in German-speaking Switzerland and nine stations in French-speaking Switzerland. The campaign will be complemented by classic OOH ads, animated DOOH ads in various Swiss train stations, as well as a sponsorship in the early primetime news at 7 p.m. on SRF 1, among other things. There will also be a takeover in September on Teleboy.ch. Likewise, the TV spots will be shown on the well-known social media streams of Facebook, Youtube and Instagram.

The agency Fallon London, which is part of the Leo Burnett Group, is responsible for the creation of the spots. The campaign was created in cooperation with Leo Burnett Switzerland.(hae/pd)
