The Zurich Theater Spektakel kicks off its 39th edition on 16 August. This year's campaign shows a cross-section of the plays shown there in a concise and memorable way. "It is always a challenge in festival communication not to highlight individual artists and yet to make the art as directly visible as possible. This year's campaign uses images of artists in an arrangement that both conveys their work and enables a cohesive, strong aesthetic of the festival across all individual subjects and applications," says Artistic Director Matthias von Hartz.

The campaign was consistently implemented in analog and digital media. The program guide has a new format for the first time and a specially developed color palette makes it easier to navigate through the various sections. The entire visual identity and the website were updated accordingly.

"We feel very honored to be in charge of the visual communication for this established and important cultural event: Every previous visitor probably associates consistently positive memories with the Zürcher Theater Spektakel. We are looking forward to balmy summer evenings with great art," says art director and designer Marcus Kraft.

The Zürcher Theater Spektakel is one of the most important European festivals for the performing arts. Since this year, the artistic director has been Matthias von Hartz, who runs the popular cultural event together with Delphine Lyner (commercial director) and Veit Kälin (technical director).
