The video "Ma chérie" for the Federal Yodelling Festival was clicked on more than three million times in social media. Now comes the next prank by Contexta and Valais/Wallis Promotion: a warning about the acute danger of addiction in the Valais.

Research is taking on a serious phenomenon: A visit to Valais triggers a high surge of the happiness hormone serotonin. If the body gets used to the high, this can lead to an acute addiction. After returning from the Valais, strong withdrawal symptoms often appear. Psychologists and scientists are looking for therapy options - not entirely altruistically.

The video was created in collaboration with David Constantin from Valais. The eye-catching story quickly spread across the Valais community throughout Switzerland. To date, it has a good 2 million views.

"We wanted to draw attention to the special features and advantages of Valais in a humorous way and show why Valais does indeed have addictive potential for so many of our guests," says Andrea Bärwalde, media spokesperson for Valais/Wallis Promotion. "The video is intended to whet people's appetites for Valais - and, of course, to get them talking about it."
