Electricity instead of sunburn: Rod Kommunikation creates campaign for EWZ

"Better make electricity out of it" is written on the sunburnt bellies and backs of visitors to the swimming pool. The humorous image idea is intended to arouse customers' interest in EWZ's sustainable solar energy.

A sunburn is as superfluous as, well, a sunburn. Everyone who has ever burned their nails knows about the power of our fixed star. The new solar power campaign of EWZ from Rod also plays with this.

EWZ's prosuming offer, which allows homeowners and tenants to rely on renewable solar energy, is being promoted. This form of energy supply is called prosuming. The word is made up of "producing" and "consuming" and symbolizes the advantages of the products "EWZ.solarzüri" and "EWZ.meinsolar". The latter, with its own solar systems and battery storage units, is aimed at homeowners who can use the system to produce their own electricity and also consume it themselves. "EWZ.solarzüri" is a product that appeals to tenants. By participating in a solar system in the city of Zurich, customers can secure 80 kWh of solar power per year for a one-time fee of 250 Swiss francs. EWZ is a pioneer in the field of solar energy and has been promoting the spread of the technology since 1996. The campaign runs until the end of July in the city of Zurich and parts of the canton of Graubünden.
