VBZ cult subject celebrates revival

In 2002, Ruf Lanz placed a VBZ ad showing the distribution of seats at the constituent meeting of the newly elected Zurich City Council, which caused quite a stir. Now the subject is celebrating a revival.

It appeared full-page Wednesday in 20 minutes - again just in time for the first meeting of the new Zurich City Council. The request came from VBZ director Guido Schoch, because the motif had "lost none of its originality and linguistic wit" over the years. At the time, media representatives also liked the pointed motif. It was awarded gold by the journalist jury of the Art Directors Club Switzerland. By the way: VBZ has recorded the strongest increase in seats. While they had 19,231 seats in 2002, they now have 24,070 seats.
