Kargo Kommunikation has once again designed and implemented the campaign against domestic violence in India for Swissaid - this time with the prominent support of Tamy Glauser and Dominique Rinderknecht as ambassadors.

In India, one in three women is beaten by her husband or family. To combat this everyday brutality, the Swiss aid organization Swissaid relies on legal and psychological help for the victims, the operation of women's shelters, awareness campaigns and, last but not least, couple workshops that help to fundamentally change violent patterns of behaviour - and with success.

Since February 11, the image spot from India has once again been broadcast on TV throughout Switzerland. From today - just in time for Valentine's Day - in addition to the TV commercial, the supplementary online campaign is running with the two ambassadors - international top model and brand ambassador Tamy Glauser and presenter, brand ambassador and Miss Switzerland 2013 Dominique Rinderknecht. Swissaid is also running a Valentine's Day campaign on Tinder.

"The stories of the Indian women affected and the sheer extent of the violence shock me," says Dominique Rinderknecht. "Women should not have to fear for their lives in their own homes - here or anywhere else. We women must stand up for each other," adds Tamy Glauser.

To emphasize their message, both women appear in front of the video camera with painted injuries on their faces and call on viewers to show solidarity.

The Bern-based agency Kargo Kommunikation is responsible for the conception and implementation of the commercial in India as well as the realization of the video statements and images of the online campaign with Tamy Glauser and Dominique Rinderknecht, together with Dynamic Frame and Laurids Jensen (photographer) from Zurich. The campaign will run for three weeks on German and French TV and on various online and social media channels.
