As part of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro launch, Huawei is running a fully integrated pan-European marketing campaign focusing on the "entrepreneurs of tomorrow". Huawei CBG Switzerland has also brought entrepreneur, fashion designer and blogger Jojo Ucan on board as Swiss brand ambassador.

The campaign, entitled "I Am What I Do", highlights the inspiring stories of people who are empowered by Huawei's innovative technologies to achieve more and make a difference. The campaign focuses on what motivates people, especially from a personal perspective, and provides inspiration to realize one's dreams - because they are within reach through groundbreaking technology.

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is the perfect companion for a sophisticated and creative lifestyle. This innovative smartphone is equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) thanks to the integrated Kirin 970 processor, allowing the user to work faster and more efficiently. The device offers the endurance you need to be a successful entrepreneur: a long-lasting battery with a runtime of up to two days, housed in a compact glass and metal body.

Seven brand ambassadors from Europe

A total of seven entrepreneurs are involved in the campaign. It will be broadcast and printed in seven European countries: the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium - and Switzerland.

These are the entrepreneurs behind the European "I Am What I Do" campaign:

  • Samantha Payne: Co-founder of Open Bionics
  • Steve Bartlett: Chief Executive Officer at Social Chain
  • Massimo Ciociola: Founder of MusixMatch
  • Monica Calicchio: Founder of TailorItaly
  • Timothée Bouitouzet: Founder and CEO of WOODOO

  • Oliver Bronner: Founder of Hy.am

Brand Ambassador Switzerland is a fashion designer, entrepreneur and blogger

With this campaign in mind, Huawei CBG Switzerland would also like to set an example for the future of entrepreneurs in this country - by collaborating with a successful entrepreneur: Johannes "Jojo" Ucanthe well-known fashion designer, young entrepreneur and blogger from Eastern Switzerland, has been the new face of the company in this country since October 2017. Jojo represents design, innovation and entrepreneurship and is therefore a perfect fit for the Huawei brand: both dare to reinvent themselves time and again and thus exceed expectations. They pursue a set goal with a great spirit of innovation and the necessary portion of vehemence.

Jojo is the owner of JUCAN tailor-made. He has been successfully tailoring and designing bespoke suits for more than three years now and runs a showroom in St.Gallen - now also in Zurich from November. Jojo is also a passionate blogger. "The perfect symbiosis of functionality and design with an eye for the very special details doesn't just occupy me as an influencer every day. It is also Huawei's great challenge to combine these aspects in unique and outstanding devices," says Jojo. "It is a great honor for me to accompany Huawei on its triumphal march and to be a part of Huawei Switzerland as an ambassador."

Jojo designs tailor-made suits, Huawei high-quality smartphones - a collaboration that we will certainly be hearing a lot more about, Daniel Meier, Vice President Consumer Business Group - Huawei Technologies Switzerland, is also convinced of this: "Jojo realizes his dreams with a large portion of courage, an appetite for innovation and outstanding entrepreneurial skills - precisely these qualities have also contributed to Huawei's beautiful success story. And of course, this story is far from over for Jojo and for Huawei."
