"Allianz Summer Games": Riding the 8-bit wave

For Allianz, Freundliche Grüsse launches the "Allianz Summer Games" in 8-bit retro look and thus draws attention to the current campaign in a playful way on social media and through native ads.

With the "Allianz Summer Games" three different online games were created, which on the one hand record the current campaign with the Swiss professional surfer Alena Ehrenbold, and on the other hand entertain the community on social media. For the games with their 8-bit retro look, a special Microsite on which you can prove your skills during six weeks. The unique look of the games was created by the game studio "Appnormals" from Barcelona, the matching soundtrack comes from the house of "Furoshiki" aka Samuel Baker from London.

During the first two weeks, the discipline "Beach Surf" will be played, which will be replaced by "Drone Race" and "Street Skate". Weekly prizes and a grand prize in the form of Kuoni travel vouchers will be raffled off among all participants. The online campaign is accompanied by social media posts and ads, as well as native ads on Watson.ch and Ronorp. The "Allianz Summer Games" can also be experienced as a surf simulator at the Allianz Cinemas in Zurich, Basel and Lausanne from June.
