The first event in a new series, "Hochgenuss'17", took place on Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Under the motto "Profiling through regionality", GastroSuisse invited gourmet ambassadors and gastronomy professionals to exchange ideas and learn more about Swiss gourmet worlds. At the Competence Center Culinary Heritage of the Alps in Stans, guests were offered an exciting mix of keynote speeches, presentations and workshops.

A good 20 industry giants, such as Andreas Djordjevic, bread sommelier at the Steirereck restaurant in Vienna, sensory expert Patrick Zbinden and Sven Wassmer, star chef at the 7132 Silver Restaurant in Vals, highlighted trends and provided new inspiration. Over 100 guests accepted the invitation.

The Chur agency Markenkern was able to support and implement the project from the very beginning. In order to do justice to the uniqueness of the event, unusual solutions were used from the outset. Thanks to a special folding and binding technique, the invitation mailing was both a booklet and a poster at the same time. A novelty, however, was the menu card for the dinner on Monday evening, which was developed together with production partner Kasimir Meyer. The menu card, designed as a set of postcards, consisted of 7 cards, one card for each course - and each set of postcards was unique. This was achieved by using different printing colors and different papers.
