Cicero goes public. Certified Insurance Competence" was launched by private insurers in 2015. With the aim of strengthening the quality of customer advice. Only insurance advisors who undergo ongoing training receive the Cicero seal of approval and are entered in the industry register. To remain registered, they must regularly renew their credits from completed continuing education courses.

To ensure that Cicero is also known by customers, the Swiss Insurance Association SVV has launched a campaign. After all, a seal of approval only really works if people know about it. The campaign encourages customers to ask insurance advisors about the seal of approval and to look out for the Cicero symbol.

The campaign was developed by the agency TBD. At the center are a film broadcast via digital channels and TV, and the Cicero website with the advisor check, where customers can easily check whether their insurance advisor is certified. Other measures plus a tool box for insurance companies are also being used.
