"No Bullshit" is the promise of the young brand Wingo, which is launching a mobile subscription with 4G full speed and a flat rate throughout Switzerland for 55 francs per month - without a minimum contract period.

Wingo's offer is a response to the growing consumer demand for "no frills". According to a recent survey of 1003 Swiss people by Marketagent, 59 percent of respondents feel they have to pay for things they do not consume at banks, insurance companies or telecoms providers. Almost one in five (17%) say that services are unimportant, and 43 percent would even be prepared to do without services such as telephone hotlines in exchange for a lower price.

Rod Kommunikation conceived and realized the campaign of the new mobile phone provider. None other than psychic Mike Shiva figures as the "anti-hero" in Wingo's broad-based advertising offensive - it's the first time Mike Shiva has appeared in an advertising campaign. In the clips of a "Super Subscription Show," he self-deprecatingly presents a mobile offering with lousy network coverage, lousy service, and long contract terms.

"Don't let anyone talk you into anything" is the slogan on the falling Wingo logo, which Mike Shiva buries under himself: "Get a mobile subscription without bullshit. In the manner of an "anti-testimonial," Mike Shiva also appears on posters with his mouth glued shut and discarded cell phones: "Don't let anyone talk you into a lame network.
