Nathalie Diethelm, CEO Villages Zurich and Geneva, leaves Havas

Nathalie Diethelm, CEO of Havas Villages Zurich and Geneva, will leave the Havas Group in the middle of the year in order to devote more time to her family.

Change is on the horizon at Havas Switzerland: Nathalie Diethelm has decided to leave the network in summer 2021. It is not a decision against the Havas family, but a decision for her own family, as she wants to spend more time with her husband and their three children in the future.

A successor is already being sought and should be on board by the middle of the year. Until then, a well-established and well-known management team will lead the agency, with Havas Village CFO Juan Marañón and Havas Media COO Sarah Hammami, among others, ensuring continuity in the relationships. The team will be supported by Michael Göls, Regional Managing Director Havas Central Europe, who will accompany the transmission period.

"The decision to step down as CEO of Havas-Villages has been extremely difficult for me" says Diethelm and adds: "The great team, our exciting customers, the cooperation with the whole market, the network and our ongoing, local projects have meant that I have always had great pleasure in my work and always seized new opportunities for Havas. Watching our children grow up and supporting them in their development - I only have this chance now and would like to seize it accordingly and reduce my workload a bit. This temporarily means more time with the family and memories that no one can take away."

Under the direction of Nathalie Diethelm, Havas Village has been able to show a continuous increase in clients - which is underlined by various renowned pitch wins, such as those of the Swiss Post, Zalando or recently the SBB and the creative implementation of the current Lidl campaign.

Havas Village team wants to ensure continuity

Until a new CEO is operationally effective, the local management team will take over the management of the agency on an interim basis in coordination with Michael Göls, Regional Managing Director Havas Central Europe. "We would like to expressly thank Nathalie for her years of service, she is handing over an agency in top form at Havas and wish her the best on her future path," emphasizes Göls. "Havas Village is one of the premier communications addresses in the Swiss market.

Together with the existing management and staff team on site, we ensure continuity in serving our clients. Excellent strategy, outstanding creation and excellent media planning in line with our Meaningful Brands approach will of course continue to form the basis of our work for our clients," says Göls.
