The owner-managed Serviceplan Group Switzerland once again closed the 2017/2018 financial year with significant growth. The group achieved a fee volume of 17.9 million Swiss francs and thus a net growth in the amount of +19.3 percent compared to the previous year 2016/2017.

The agency group develops customized communication solutions for customers of different company sizes under the common roof in the House of Communication. This is done with the four brands Serviceplan (creation/content), Plan.Net (technology), Solutions (production) and Mediaplus (impact and channel planning), all of which are among the leading providers in the European market in their respective fields.

The financial figures show that this agency model meets the current requirements of the market, Serviceplan writes in a statement. Once again, the group, which has been active in the Swiss market since 2013, looks back on a solid year of growth of +19.3 percent compared to the previous year.

Growth thanks to integration and digitization expertise

Integrated brand management of communications mandates in all relevant disciplines and expertise in digital transformation are the main drivers of growth.

The advertising agency Serviceplan Suisse, led by Managing Partner Pam Hügli and Executive Creative Director Raul Serrat, expanded its client mandates in terms of number and volume in the past fiscal year. The company serves clients from a wide range of sectors and industries. Among other things, the agency supported the entry of DHL's parcel post into the Swiss market and the entry of industrial group ABB into Formula E as the world's first title sponsor of an FIA racing world championship.

Following the merger with the internet agency INM in the previous 2016/2017 financial year, the digital agency Plan.Net Suisse successfully completed its first financial year in the new constellation. Various new mandates were won for clients such as Motorex, Huawei, SIA Abrasives and Angela Bruderer. The agency, headed by Philipp Sauber, covers a wide range of digital client needs. Among others, it employs specialists for platforms (lead: Marcel Baumann), performance marketing (lead: Andreas Gentsch), experience and UX design (lead: Micha Seger) as well as experts for digital campaigns (lead: Holger Schicke). Plan.Net Suisse has recently become a member of the industry association Leading Swiss Agencies (LSA) and is thus the second agency of the Serviceplan Group Switzerland.

Mediaplus Suisse completes the range

In the past financial year, the impact and channel planning agency Mediaplus Suisse was also founded, which is managed by Cosima Giannachi. This new company completes the integrated offering in the house of communication of the Serviceplan Group Switzerland. The three core competencies of creation, technology and media are offered jointly to the market at the request of the customer. The Solutions brand was able to further expand the area of single-source publishing with database-supported production systems on various customer mandates of different sizes. The trend of decoupling (the separation of conceptual and production services) allows efficient, cost-effective, secure and stringent brand management of decentralized organizations. The Solutions service offering will be integrated even more closely into the Group's overall offering in the coming months, thus enabling efficiency gains in external and internal processes.

In general, the agency group's outlook for the coming financial year is confident, the statement continues. Christian Baertschi, Partner and CEO of Serviceplan Group Switzerland, comments: "Among other things, we have significantly developed our content offering in recent months and now also produce social media motion picture content in German, French and Italian in-house with dedicated teams. Accordingly, we are in a better position to respond to demand in the Bto-B and B-to-C sectors and to meet the demand for fast implementation and response times. In addition, we realize content originally in English for internationally active Swiss customers."
