New technologies (augmented reality/virtual reality, artificial intelligence/machine learning, voice-as-an-interface) are increasingly shaping everyday life and thus also the relationships between companies and their customers. The Farner Lab at the agency's Zurich location creates a bridge between companies and the far-reaching opportunities of technological change. In this way, the agency's clients can try out the completely new possibilities within the framework of interdisciplinary pilot projects, test prototypes and gain strategically relevant experience for the future.

The Farner Lab at Löwenstrasse 2 is the first usable and fully operational Innovation Lab of a Swiss communications agency. It offers a platform for modern innovation and project processes as well as access to a specialized network of experts. With the support of the agency and its accomplished technology partners, companies develop novel communication experiences and acquire an edge in knowledge and experience. At the grand opening on November 29, they will be able to discuss strategic applications of the new technologies with Farner Lab partners. In addition, Farner will provide an insight into the results of the joint study with the University of Lucerne on voice-as-an-interface and highlight the technology's chances of success as well as realistic future scenarios.

Roman Geiser, CEO & Managing Partner at Farner: "With the Farner Lab, we are expanding our established consulting services in the context of digital transformation to include first-time pioneering applications in the Swiss communications market. Through the pilot projects with the new technologies, companies create novel and distinctive forms of customer approach and customer loyalty."

The first pilot projects are taking place in the innovation fields of Voice-as-an-Interface, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence. Farner Lab's specialized strategic partners include the University of Lucerne, 89grad and Viable (Voice-as-an-Interface), Bandara and 360 WeAre (AR/VR), 4Quant (AI), Diversity, evitive and United Expeditions (collaborative innovation and project processes).
