Ex-Process employees found new brand development agency in Zurich

They were responsible for the rebrandings of clients such as BKW, Famigros, KKL Luzern and Marché Mövenpick and played a key role in shaping them: since April, the former employees of the Process branding agency, Elmar Müller (strategy), Selina Eugster (design) and Andy Lang (design), have been running their own agency under the name "Solid Identities".

The shared vision of making brands easier to implement in everyday life and at the same time more effective through intelligent, strategic and conceptual principles was just one of the reasons for founding the agency. "We have been a well-established team for years and complement each other perfectly - both professionally and personally. We wanted to take advantage of this," explains Selina Eugster. The agency, based at Gotthardstrasse 53 in Zurich, is also convinced that the future belongs to a new generation of agencies: small, focused, agile and optimally networked.

People want brands that are helpful to them

Brands have never been more important to people than they are today. This is obvious to the three agency founders. Elmar Müller sees one of the main reasons for this in the digital transformation: "It is fundamentally changing our world - technologically, economically and, above all, socially. For many people, whether as consumers or employees, this is a time of uncertainty, questioning and reorientation. They are looking for meaning, orientation, support and motivation - exactly what a well-built brand can offer them."

Building such brands is also the motivation of the three agency partners. To this end, they develop brands together with their clients in a human-centered way, i.e. consistently based on the expectations, needs and values of the target groups. "In addition to the consumer perspective, the employee perspective is also essential for us," explains Selina Eugster, adding: "After all, brands are ultimately defined by the people who use them in everyday life, live them and communicate them to the outside world. They give the brand its credibility. Without them, the brand remains an empty promise at best."

Together, the three owners of Solid Identities combine around 35 years of experience in the international brand environment in their agency. They have worked for renowned agencies such as Peter Schmidt Group, Wolff Olins, Landor Associates, Interbrand and Tom Dixon. Their projects have won several international design and branding awards.

Selina Eugster is also looking forward to working with this experienced team: "In Elmar, we have a skilled brand strategist with an HSG background and a digital mindset shaped by Hyper Island. Andy is a technology-savvy creative mind with an immense knowledge of production technology. Together with me as a designer with a strong systemic mindset and a penchant for coherent brand worlds, we make an ideal overall package for our clients."
